A588 GrA I-beam steel is one mainly of Steel Resistant to Atmospherical Corrosion steel plate, A588 GrA I-beam steel is a high-strength low-alloy steel used in structural applications such as bridges and buildings. Its advantage over A572 50 is its “weathering” ability, which provides atmospheric corrosion resistance and ultimately longer life in applications where exposure to elements will be a factor.
